Communication

Explains how communication and followup is done within the HDL Commerce Integration.

Communication

Communication is done with REST APIs. Authentication is handle through an API token bearer.

Every site has a different API URL that needs to be setup before trying to send data.


Logging

All communcation uses the "Omni Channel Log Entries" page. Error messages for both inbound and outbound documents will be found in the "Error Message" field in the log.

Request

The request can be shown by selecting a record in the log and then pressing "Show Message"

Response

The response can be shown by selecting a record in the log and then pressing "Show Response"




Omni Channel Message queue

Since the integration is working with events in the systems, all outbound messages is queued in a pre-queue being serialized and sent. The message queue can be found from the meny in the Omni Channel Message Log or by searching for it.
