Customer Terms

When dealing with wholesale business and the customer agreement means different prices for pre-orders and stock orders, "Customer Terms" enables the possibility to connect different price lists to the different order types.

Introduction

This document explains the purpose of the "Customer Terms" feature, which primarily involves only the customer card.

Scenarios

The feature applies to one single scenario:

  • Pre-order business in combination with stock order deliveries.

Prerequisites

To be able to use the feature, it requires that different "Customer Price Groups" have been set up, and also different prices connected to each "Customer Price Group". The prices can however reside in the same physical price list.

Walk through

Follow the instructions below to setup the terms on the customers:

  1. Open up the customer card of the customer to setup.
  2. Go to the tab "Invoicing". Click on "Show more" to display the fields not visible from start.
  3. Locate the field "Customer Price Group". This is the default customer price group for the current customer, used as number one.
  4. Notice the "..."-button attached to the field. Click the "..."-button.
  5. A list page becomes visible, listing order types in combination with customer price groups.
  6. Add the order types that should be connected to different customer price groups.

When creating sales orders with these order types, the corresponding customer price groups will be applied on those orders.
